This webpage is dedicated to my Cooper family roots. The Cooper family that I'm descended from originated from Stratford-upon-Avon in England. This is from information shared with me by other researchers - I have not been able to get that far back with this family - yet.
The first Cooper that is in Canada is Charles Cooper, who was born in England, but came to Canada around 1792. He came to St. John's and then moved to Harbour Grace where he got married. He had a son in 1802 by the name of William A. Cooper.
